Kris was struggling in his first and second areas in Argentina. He’s was in the middle of the country, far from any major cities, and farther from home. The excitement to serve as a missionary was fading as overwhelming feelings of depression and frustration grew. “This was not what I thought it was going to be.” But then something changed. Not something physical, but an epiphany and understanding on what Kris could and couldn’t control. A correct understanding of the Lord’s definition of success. What is Faith? Jared wasn’t sure if serving a mission was for him. He felt a lot of societal pressure, but deep down, didn’t know if it was right for him. Relying mainly on the testimony of his family and friends, Jared flew 20+ hours to find himself in a foreign land. Is the Restored Gospel confusing to you? Kyle knew he wanted to serve a mission, but he didn’t always understand the Gospel well. It didn’t click for him, like it did for others. But now instead of just learning the doctrine, Kyle now had to learn another language. Having lived away from home and been a business owner, Damian had a unique skill-set heading to the Midwest. But when he was transferred to a small town that had seen missionaries for years, he decided to go against the grain and use his talents to serve and expose previously hardened hearts to the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How has Covid-19 been a blessing in your life? Sister Riggs is a living example of the scripture “all these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good.” Despite some major hardships, Sister Riggs has the learned ability to recognize the Lord’s hand in her life in coming home due to the pandemic and her new mission call.
